COMBINED CAUTERY-SUCTION INSTRUMENTSurgical Device
Cautery-Suction
Surgical Instrument
Surgeons are constantly switching between electrocautery and fluid suction instruments during procedures, which is time-consuming and frustrating.
Dr. Heung Bae Kim, Director of the Pediatric Transplant Center at Boston Children’s Hospital, approached Archimedic with a proposed solution–combining cautery and fluid-suction capabilities into a single, compact, ergonomic instrument.
Boston Children’s is currently pursuing partnership opportunities for this device. For further information, please contact us.
“The [Archimedic] team was great to work with throughout the process of developing concepts and prototypes for our device. Their attention to detail was critical to the success of our project.”
